Further hiking advice and tips can be found in the guidebook of the Berg im Drautal community, and in the Oberdrautaler Wanderführer. We suggest a mountain guide for hikes and climbing tours. We organise hikes every week to the Pließalm, Lake Einsee or Lake Zweisee, the Hochtristen and the Knoten. Simply ask at Reception.

To cool your feet and legs after a strenuous hiking tour, we recommend a refreshing tread bath in our healing mud tread bath.

Sensory-Meditative Exploration

Sensopark - fünf senso-meditative WanderungenIn Berg im Drautal the "Senso-Park" was created to learn to recognize and to reach a new understanding of nature and environment. 5 senso-meditative walks were created to allow the person to recognize the nature. The routes have been expanded with meditative exercises for body and soul and are described in detail in the booklet "Sensopark". The book costs Euro 7,- and is available at the reception. The sensopark is the complement to the "Outdoorpark" with all its active sports.

The 5 meditative hikes of sensopark:

  • Paracelsus-Weg
  • Johann Hufnagel-Weg
  • 17-Kräuter-Weg
  • Gartenkofelweg

Here you'll find detailed information about Senso-Park (only in German) with descriptions of Paracelsusweg hiking path, of Johann-Hufnagelweg path and 17-Kräuterweg path. Here are more information about hiking in Carinthia.
